Fosshotel Dalvík is a new and comfortable tourst-class bed and breakfast hotel, well located in the small town of Dalvík. The 25 rooms with shower/wc offer TV and wireless internet and a mountain or fjord view. All guest rooms and restaurant/bar facilities are non-smoking. Húsabakki
On Húsabakki there is a range of accommodation that can cater for up to 62 people in 18 rooms and in various size and price.
Sleeping Bag Accommodation in rooms of 3-4 or in an 16 bed dormitory. Large and spacious family room. Double Rooms are also available with bedding included. There is a shared bathroom facility for these rooms.
Húsabakki Campsite. Electricity points are available for camper vans. There is a playground for children, mini golf and a meadow with a campfire. There is access to a washing machine, cokking facilities and internet connection. There are shared bathroom facilities for the campsite. These can be found on the ground floor of the Rimar building.
Please note there is a Bird Exhibition – Birdland contained within the grounds and Húsabakki is only a short distance from amneties and a diverse selection of activities.

The old house in Vegamót:
It is situated behind the house we live in at Vegamót, surrounded by a big garden only 200 m from Dalvík Swimming Pool. In the house you’ll find a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom on the first floor. Above there is a loft for sleeping. In the living room two adults can sleep on a very nice double sleeping couch and there is also room for children on mattresses. Above on the loft at least 4 can sleep on mattresses. In our kitchen you’ll find most of the common tools for cooking and a fridge. In the living room there is a TV with Icelandic and foreign channels and a DVD player. You can also connect to the internet through a wireless internet connection.
The cottages in Vegamót:
We offer accommodation in three cottages, 15 sqm. each. One room and a WC, double bed, sleeping sofa and simple cooking facilities. There is no shower in the cottages but we offer guests free admission to our local swimming pool which is only 200m away. In our garden we have a hot tub which our guests can use for free.
Gimli:
Gimli is our guesthouse situated in the middle of Dalvík just above the harbour. We offer 8 rooms, from a small room for one up to big family rooms for 5 persons.
Kitchen and living room on upper floor but also facilities to eat on 1.st floor. Shared toilets and showers on 1.st floor. Its possible to rent a whole floor or even the whole house.

The Old Farmhouse Ytri-Vík
The old three-storey house was built in 1929 and was the homestead for farming and fishing for many years. In 1982, the lovely farmhouse achieved the new role of a friedly guesthouse. The house has been completely renovated and is now equipped with all modern facilities.

Log Cabins
There are also 7 log cabins at Ytri-Vík. Each house has a veranda with furniture and a geothermal hot water tub, with outdoor facilities for barbecues. The cabins are equipped with all necessary kitchen utensils and modern appliances. (Cooker, refrigerator, microwave, perculator, electric appliances, crockery, cutlery, utensils). The rooms are warm and cosy and the larger cabins have an upstairs platform for sleeping bags. Each cabin has a radio and TV and they all have their own names.

At Sydri-Hagi we offer accommodation in a cottage on Árskógsströnd in Eyjafjörð . The cottages is 37 m2 with big terrace. There are 2 bed in one rum and bunkbed for 2 persons in another room, besides a sleeping couch in the living room and matresses on the sleepingloft. There is also a TV, microwave and barbecue. Access to a washing machine can also be arranged. There is kitchen facilities for 8 persons. Free fish angling is from the shore and berry picking in the hills above the cottage.

Sunnubraut 14 is a cozy family house (villa) in a cul-du-sac in Dalvik offered as a short term rent for families. This is a two-storey house situated at one of Dalvik’s best spots with the local swimming pool only 50 m away and the beautiful Svarfadardalur Valley’s embrace to the south. The house can be rented over a weekend or for a week(s) by appointment. There are 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a TV room, a living room with a fireplace, a dining room and a kitchen as well as large garden. Sleeps 10 people + 2 cots for babies. A great house for families or a small group of people wanting to feel like at home while exploring the nearby surroundings.

Campsites
The campsite at Husabakki is located in beautifull settings in Svarfadardalur next to the Nature reserve „Fridland Svarfdæla, surounded by high mountains of Troll pennisula.
Electricity points are available for camper vans. There is a playground for children, mini golf, sportsfield, a barefoot path, a meadow with a campfire and more. There is an access to a washing machine, cooking facilities, hot and cold water and internet connection. There are shared bathroom facilities for the campsite which can be found on the ground floor of the Rimar building.
In the neigbourhood you can find all neccessary service and recreation such as swimmingpool, horcerental, boat trips, whale watching, bird watching, canoing, hiking, museums and exhibitions.

The campsite in Dalvík is situated close to Dalvík Swimming pool. The facilities include hot and cold water, showers, access to electricity and equipment for toilet waste from campers and caravans. There is a nice playground for children nearby, a fooball pitc, a basketball court and Dalvík swimming pool is only a few feet away. The swimming pool staff is responsible for the campsite during the Pool´s opening hours.

Price per unit of caravan and etc. is 1.500 kr. per night, for the first two nights, then 750 kr. for the third one and the fourth one is for free.
Price for per tent is 1.000 kr. for the first two nights, the 500 kr. for the third one and free after that.
Electricity is 600 kr. per night per unit.
